Spring

We were entertained outside our living room window watching these men take down a huge tree across the street.    I was sad to see it go but these big trees are scary when they get diseased and could come over on a house on a windy day.  Believe me, we have had lots of wind this spring.

Since my last post Spring has definitely arrived.    One day early May I was going into the post office and couldn't help but notice the wonderful smell from the flowering trees along the sidewalk and down the side street.    It just made me smile knowing that we were finally on our way to some nice weather.

There are always projects - Our neighbor built new cornice boards for our windows at the lake and Vic is busy staining them.   We found another little cabinet he is staining here to use inside.   Believe me, it looks a lot better. 

It was a beautiful morning yesterday at the lake  - just had to take this picture to remind me how much we enjoy the mornings.
