A Repeat of 2018

For days we have been hearing of a major storm coming our way.   It was mentioned that something similar happened last year, but for the life of me I couldn't recall that.  It suddenly dawned on me, of course I don't remember because we were in Texas.   However, we won't soon forget the one happening this weekend here.     It has been raining like crazy for 6 weeks and this morning the rain switched to snow.    Thankfully, so far our sump pump is doing it's job and we have no water in our downstairs level.   We can tell lots of people have had issues because we see all the carpets piled on the berms.    This picture shows the collapsable hose that shoots the water out to our backyard.  Vic went out in the snow this morning and cleaned it off so he can see when it is pumping.
