Christmas 2015

The first thing these kids checked out on Christmas Eve Day was where Santa was on the
Norad's Santa Tracker.

Our celebration officially started with hors d'oeuvres in the afternoon before our
Christmas Eve Service at 5:00.
Can you tell they are getting hyped?
Mack is watching carefully to see if Ellie likes the snow globe - his gift to her.
Yep, it was a big hit!

Ellie gave Mack a Lego Book which he immediately started reading.  He seems to constantly have a Lego project going on in his head.
Ellie loves stuffed animals and was pretty pleased the stocking was big enough
to hold this soft and cuddly lamb.
Christmas Morning this boy got a Twins Cap that fit - the old one was a little bit on the small side.
For some reason we got a picture of everyone with their eyes open at the same time.

December fun

Well, fun maybe not so much for the snow part, but Christmas sure is fun with family around.   We have loved all the excitement with 2 little ones here.   Mack decided it was important that he write a note to Santa Claus just incase his verbal wishes weren't understood.    I noticed this piece of paper stuck in the tree before they left to spend a few days in Fargo with Grandpa and Grandma Slanger.

Vic is the proud owner of a snow pusher.    It works great on the light fluffy stuff we have gotten recently.    The two wheels (which you can barely see) make it glide across the concrete and flips over when you want to go the other direction.

A Summer Evening Drive

A couple nights ago our neighbor (Sandra) came knocking on our door and asked if we'd like to go out for a ride in "The Chevy"...
