Enjoying Eagle Lake

Rob and Carrie got up early one morning and went on the lake.

These two little sweeties loved playing in the sand.  Mack told us it was his favorite thing at the lake.

Breakfast at Itasca Douglas Lodge took a long time so coloring helped pass the time.

Mr. Doug wanted to take Mack fishing.  He remembered last year when he got to drive the boat.  It was nice Rob could be here this year to go along with Mack.

Arrival!

Slangers arrived early afternoon Thursday just in time for E's nap.   Mack took his dad on a tour of the park.  It's amazing how much he remembers from last year.

Anticipation!

Our two little darlings (and Rob & Carrie too) are making their way north.   I don't know why they have to stop so often.  Don't they know we can't wait until they arrive?    Mack told me today on the phone that I was going to "Kiss him until he was a teenager" - yep, that's the plan but some thing tells me things will change on that score in a short time.       stay tuned........

Neighborhood Blooms

Honestly, there isn't much to write or post these days.   We are anxious for our Little Rock family to arrive later this month and then we'll have some subjects to photograph.    Last night we took a "hood" walk and what lovely things we saw.........
