Thanks, Glenn for this North Dakota Poem

It's winter in North Dakota
And the gentle breezes blow
Seventy miles an hour
At twenty-five below.
Oh, how I love North Dakota
When the snow's up to your butt
You take a breath of winter
And your nose gets frozen shut.
Yes, the weather here is wonderful
So I guess I'll hang around
I could never leave North Dakota
'Cause I'm frozen to the ground!!!"

Lunar Eclispe

Even though it was very cold, Photoman got the tripod and the camera set up outside in the snow to get a few pictures. Of course, he was having a blast! ugh (Marilyn looked out the window)

A New Friend

It's no secret Vic likes to feed the birds. Recently when he was filling the bird feeder he spilled a generous amount of seed and suddenly he had a new friend. After that Vic always throws a some on the ground for the little guy. We have watched this wascalie wabbit get fatter and fatter. I'm sure he has a big smile too as he has a banquet all day long. Yesterday we saw him eat a bit and then stretch his head up over the snow to make sure no one else was coming. He is very entertaining!

Snowman Vic

You probably can't tell but this is Vic. He has been out blowing that beautiful white stuff we got overnight. Honestly, it IS beautiful. That terrible minus twenty stuff is over and we are grateful. He not only snowblows our driveway and sidewalks but the neighbor to the north of us. Deb is a nurse and I know appreciates coming home to find her driveway clean.

Rob and Carrie: This post is mainly for you. Make sure you make the picture bigger so you can see the frost on the scarf!

A Summer Evening Drive

A couple nights ago our neighbor (Sandra) came knocking on our door and asked if we'd like to go out for a ride in "The Chevy"...
