Interesting Happenings

Daddy and Mommy are back home and everyone is happy. We found it rather interesting how we had suspected Ellie would have the hardest time with Mommy and Daddy out of town, but it ended up being Mack. He was fine until the second night when he missed his parents a lot. He said once, "I don't want Mommy going to that place". But, he tried hard to be a good boy and he really was. We had a great time here but tomorrow morning we start our trek back north. We'll make a quick stop at M's brother in NW Arkansas and in Iowa for a visit with Vic's brothers.

So far, so good

The parents of these two darlings went off to some football game they heard about in Texas. So, Tutu and Papa are in charge. We were a bit nervous how it would go especially the night, but we all had a very good night. This AM I decided to make a bowl of oatmeal for myself and why not try some for the kiddos(this is not how Mommy makes it) - Mack is always a bit more hesitant, but he tasted it and said, "It's good". Ellie, on the other hand just couldn't wait to dive into it. All is well at 3172.
