Just for the records

Vic took this picture on Good Friday - April 19th to show we finally are down to the last bit of snow. We thought it would never go away.   Less than a week later see buds on trees and the Forsythia blooming across the street.

April 12

I am posting this mostly so we can document this late winter storm.   It started snowing yesterday at 4:00 and has left us about 4 inches of heavy wet stuff.  Today we see the river has crested so it should hold steady for a few days while this melts.   Do I have to even write how sick we are of winter and we didn't even experience it until around March 1st.    January and February were brutal for the people that stayed here during those months.
