Birding

Madera Canyon is a beautiful place where people from all over the world come to bird watch and enjoy the beautiful scenery. It is located south of Tucson. Today we took a drive there to see the birds and enjoy the wonderful weather.

An Acorn Woodpecker showed off quite a bit so he (or maybe she) attracted several people with cameras.

There is one place where they try to attract hummingbirds and have benches lined up where you can sit by the hours. This group of charming gals showed up so we said they really needed to let us take their picture. They were having a really fun time together. They suggested we make sure we explain they were in their 30's.
But, these two gentlemen were the ones that Vic enjoyed watching. Vic asked this man about his lens and he said it was a 1.5-500 mm. Many, many nickels. Vic said he was out-gunned.

Vic has been disappointed in the photo ops. But, for sure we have enjoyed the beautiful weather and some interesting people and bird watching.

A Summer Evening Drive

A couple nights ago our neighbor (Sandra) came knocking on our door and asked if we'd like to go out for a ride in "The Chevy"...
