Things are pretty quiet

  • Those Canadians love their Curling!

    Notice his banding

Not much to post lately. Marilyn spent a great week in Tucson with her mother. Unlike Vic she did not take her camera. Sorry. While Marilyn was in Tucson Vic went to the World Curling Championship Game. The Canadians won.

We have enjoyed spring making it's appearance in North Dakota. It's been slow coming this year, but now we know it will arrive. One of the fun things is the return of the birds. We were sitting in the sunroom with friends and a Cooper Hawk posed while Vic made a run for his camera. These aren't especially welcome as they scare the living daylights out of the other birds. We notice he has had lunch on a bunny because he left the fur behind. This hawk is banded. Vic has written to the local newspaper birdwatcher to see if he can get some information on that.
